Fiduciary Service Providers (Corporate and Trust Service Providers)

Fiduciary Service Providers are regulated in accordance with the Fiduciary Service Providers Acts 2000 and 2005. Initially the Government enacted the Corporate Service Providers Act 2000 to regulate Corporate Services Providers, and Sterling was granted a Category 1 Corporate Service Providers Licence in accordance with this act, on 14th December 2001.

Subsequently the Government enacted the Fiduciary Services Act 2005 to regulate Trust Service Providers, and to amend certain provisions of the Corporate Service Providers Act 2000, which included changing the name of that act to Fiduciary Services Act 2000.
